Our second day in Key West we toured the Hemingway House.
He lived and wrote in Key West for several years
before moving to Cuba. The house was really interesting and beautiful.
We saw many of the famous six toed cats that live in
and around the house, all descendants of the original cat
Hemingway brought to the island.

This is a painting of the house in Key West.

Count the toes.

Hemingway wrote in this second story studio over looking the pool and gardens.

Island requirements ...... porch and rockers.

We also toured the John James Audubon house and gardens.
Many life sized beautiful bird paintings on the walls. The garden orchids were blooming
and tables were being set for a big dinner party.
