We drove over the mountain pass and stumbled onto the US/Mexico border. There were work crews building a "vehicle impediment" along the border fence using railroad ties.
Visitor Center ... interesting movie about Coronado, nice books. I photographed the sparrows through the window that looks out onto a small water hole.
Border patrol observation vehicle .... your tax $$$$ at work!
We drove up to Montezuma Pass, 6585 ft. high, overlooking the US/Mexico border.
