We have spent the last two days at Honeyman State Park near Florence, Oregon. The weather has been iffy .....thunder, lightening, misty, light rain, not much sun, but we have enjoyed ourselves anyway. There is lots to do here. We've gone on lots of walks with the dogs around the lake, into Florence to check out the shops and galleries in old town. But the very best thing to do here is ride on the dune buggies!!!! We had a blast! The first day we went out on one of the Big Buggies and today we rode on the 4 person Sandrail Buggy. It was just us and our driver. It was a real E ticket ride. He drove us faster and wilder than I would have requested, but we loved every thrilling moment of it. He took us all over the dunes and out to the beach. I didn't take my camera, in fact, we wore googles, a big grin, and lots of sand, so it wasn't a good place for my camera.
