This afternoon to took a ride on the Galloping Goose, the regional system of bike trails. It was a wonderful ride through lush forests of Big Leap Maples, Alders, evergreens, and ferns. The trail was gradually up on the way to the Potholes and downhill all the way back. Excellent! We crossed two wooden train trestles on the way. The Goose was developed where an old train line used to run.
